The apartment is located in the San Paolo area, a stone’s throw from the Metro (LINE B – San Paolo or Marconi stop) and well connected to the center but also to the Rome-Lido railway towards Ostia. San Paolo is one of the liveliest and most popular neighborhoods in the Italian capital, well connected to the airports of Fiumicino and Ciampino.

The presence of young university students has contributed to the birth of clubs, bars and restaurants, meeting places not only for students, but also for tourists and residents. The area is home to the wonderful Church of !!San Paolo Fuori le Mura, included in the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, the Schuster Park with the memorial for the fallen of Nassiriya, the imperial tombs of the Appian Way and the large Parco degli Acquedotti, the meeting point of the two aqueducts built in Roman times.

Centrale Montemartini
This is an extraordinary example of the reconversion into a museum in 1997 of an industrial archaeology building, the first public plant in Rome (1912) for the production of electrical energy. Visiting the museum is like taking a journey back in time through the history of Rome: the modern city, the industrial one, told through the machinery and furnishings still present inside, pertinent to the first function of the building; the ancient city, illustrated through some exceptional archaeological finds exhibited where possible for their contexts of provenance.
Parco Tevere Marconi
It was inaugurated in 2022, on Lungotevere di Pietra Papa, between Ponte Marconi and via Enrico Fermi. A new space with a children’s play area, dog area, green lawns and new trees on the Tiber. It is the new Tevere Marconi park, on the right bank of the river at Ponte Marconi.

Farmer’s Market It is a direct sales agricultural market open on Saturday and Sunday, where the farms of Lazio sell their products directly. A wide variety of fresh and quality products from the Lazio countrysid: fruit and vegetables, wines and vinegars, olive oil, cheeses and dairy products, fresh meats and cured meats, vegetable preserves and processed products, eggs, legumes and derivatives, honey.

Cereals, legumes, soup mixes, pasta, spices, tea, herbal teas, infusions, flours: here you can find many dry ingredients to put directly in your own containers. There is baking powder, polenta, corn starch, many types of rice, biscuits, cornflakes, taralli, all in plain sight in transparent containers. There is also wine (from Lazio) and then a section dedicated to cosmetics (with products with returnable containers) and detergents on tap. Naturally, there are no bags, except for the cotton bags on sale.
